Whipper Snipping
The mower can't get everywhere. We snip along fence lines, around trees and posts, and down the strips the mower misses, so the whole yard looks cut, not just the open bits.
What’s Included
Fence lines and boundaries done
Around trees, posts and obstacles
Tight corners the mower can't reach
Steep banks and rough ground
Brought down to a clean, even height
We work the boundary first, then around trees, clotheslines, sheds and anything else fixed in the ground, and finish along the house. Trimmings get blown off the paths and taken away with the rest.
A mowed lawn with long grass around the fence posts still looks unfinished. The trim work is fiddly and slow with the wrong gear, which is why it's the first job people give up on.
We carry commercial trimmers and do it as a matter of course, so the grass is one even height from fence to fence, not just where the mower fits.
Whipper snipping is included in every mow we do, and it can also be booked on its own for steep banks, fence lines on acreage or blocks that have got away. Tell us what you're dealing with and we'll quote it for free.
[How we work]
Getting started is simple
Send us a few details through the quote form and tell us roughly what the yard needs. Rather talk it through first? Call or text and we'll take it from there.
Step 1. Get in touch
Call, text or fill out the quote form. Tell us roughly what the yard needs and we'll take it from there.
Step 2. Free quote at your place
We come to you, walk the yard together and price it on the spot where we can. Then we lock in a time that suits you.
Step 3. Done, and kept that way
We turn up when we said, do the job properly and take the mess with us. And if you'd rather never think about the yard again, we'll set up a weekly, fortnightly or monthly round.

"We're Mark and Sonia and Yard Boss is ours. Send us a few details and we'll come and have a look."
