Hedge Trimming
Hedges want shaping a couple of times a year to stay thick and neat rather than woody and gappy. We trim to a clean shape, keep the lines straight and clear away every bit of the cuttings, so you are not left with a pile by the shed.
What’s Included
Shaped to clean, even lines
Height and width kept in check
Cuttings fully cleared
Tall and awkward hedges reached safely
Timed to the season for thick regrowth
On the day we shape the faces and top, tidy the ends, and rake and blow the lot before loading the cuttings. Long reach gear handles the tall runs without a scaffold, and drop sheets keep the mess out of the garden beds.
A hedge trimmed at the right time thickens up. One left too long goes woody in the middle and never quite comes back the same. Regular shaping is what keeps a hedge worth having.
We cut straight lines you can sight down, keep the top level and get the sides even, and every last cutting goes in the trailer, not on your lawn.
Most hedges on the Peninsula want two or three trims a year, and formal hedges a touch more. We'll look at what you've got and tell you honestly how often it needs doing. Quotes are free.
[How we work]
Getting started is simple
Send us a few details through the quote form and tell us roughly what the yard needs. Rather talk it through first? Call or text and we'll take it from there.
Step 1. Get in touch
Call, text or fill out the quote form. Tell us roughly what the yard needs and we'll take it from there.
Step 2. Free quote at your place
We come to you, walk the yard together and price it on the spot where we can. Then we lock in a time that suits you.
Step 3. Done, and kept that way
We turn up when we said, do the job properly and take the mess with us. And if you'd rather never think about the yard again, we'll set up a weekly, fortnightly or monthly round.
